The Pill Project
I developed this prototype along with Sean Zehnder (who did all of the hard-core coding) to explore the relationship between identity construction and the American pharmaceutical industry.
First, we created little videos that illustrate a few reasons Americans use some common drugs. Click on a video as many times as you want to fill up your prescription in multiples of 10 pills per click. Then, when you’re ready to take your meds, click on the drug of your choice. The pills will populate the screen to the right, each one constructing a different persona. Click, drag, play with your pills to play with your personae.
**This project is a pretty big download and was presented as an prototype/installation (at Northwestern University), so…no status bar, sorry**

I have been working in web and interactive media for over ten years. Starting out as a visual designer and front end developer, I have spent the last few years focusing on user experience design and strategy. In other words, I make things work and make them better.
