As Senior Designer at Nerve.com, I was responsible for daily production of a website with over 1.2 million unique visitors per month. In addition to managing and producing minisite campaigns for outside clients, such as Sony Pictures Classics and Capitol Records, I designed hundreds of editorial graphics for feature stories. Here’s a sampling.
I have been working in web and interactive media for over ten years. Starting out as a visual designer and front end developer, I have spent the last few years focusing on user experience design and strategy. In other words, I make things work and make them better.
I also teach at Parsons School of Design and have a background in documentary filmmaking. Recently, I’ve been thinking a lot about the relationship between the documentary and interaction design process and practice.
